What: Working Party #1 of 2 When: 7th/8th March WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW The first working bee is on this Saturday and Sunday. The long-term weather forecast looks good. So we are looking for a good turn out! Many hands make light work. We are meeting at 9am-10am on Saturday at the Top of Bruce then walk up the hill from there. Or if you have keys you’re welcome to pop up to the hut on Friday night. Please bring a back pack as we will have a few items such as food and some materials to the hut. If you are attending, can you please (re)confirm by hitting the RSVP buttons above / below or emailing committee@wssc.co.nz and CC dave.lazelle@gmail.com * We’ll organise some catering. * Let us know if you are staying overnight. * If you can only attend one day that is fine. * We may also able to help coordinate ride sharing if required. * Please let us know if you can take people. * Also, bring your bedding if you are staying over at the hut. We have some general hut maintenance such as cleaning, painting and stacking fire wood under the hut and in the wood room. The fire wood has been flown up to the hut and is waiting at the front door. Remember to bring āold work clothes and work glovesā as we need to get all the old dry fire wood out from under the hut! This working bee will be led by Dave Lazelle (027 449 9756) from Wellington and Phil Brown (027 231 1911) from Whanganui. Thanks to you all in advance. If you have any questions or need more information please contact Dave Lazelle (dave.lazelle@gmail.com or 027 449 9756). |
